– LAND OF COLOUR –
Nepal
NEPAL
‘My year in Nepal was a wonderful journey of bold colours working on two different techniques. I explored the art of reversed painting on glass capturing the Hindu Gods and Goddesses I came across on the streets around me. A land of colour, rough beauty and mysterious hidden places. The end result was a discovery and surprise. Working backwards with abstract simple lines created an almost childlike picture with light reflecting the colours in a pure and simple way.’
‘The other paintings were made with acrylic paint, trying to paint the scenes seen around me with big brush strokes on large canvasses.’
